I feel like I have improved the second time around. I prefer this image, I enjoy the use of pinks and purples to add to the cutesy aesthetic I'm aiming for.

I thought I would try something that I've never done before, scan a drawing in, and colourise it. 

I took my image from here and drew it out simply in pencil first, then went over in biro black pen. I then scanned it into my computer using a kodak scanner (which is another piece of photography equipment I have) I opened this in Photoshop, adjusted the curves to make it high contrast. I then created selections and new fill layers and started filling it in with colour. I used photo filters to add the colours so I didn't risk losing my black lines. This worked well. As a final addition, I added some vignetting, which is a lighting effect in Photoshop. 

Over all I'm pleased with this, but I feel like I could do better, and I actually prefer the scanned in, non coloured version.
